Cross media and games is pretty self-explanatory. After a couple of years of focusing on cross media storytelling and design, it dawned on me that the concept of games and play is structural to cross media, and that I would have liked to work on it, together with the notion of experience.
This is what I will be researching about from now on.
Said that, I am not sure how this blog is going to turn out. I guess until I find a suitable institution it will be just the mirror of my whims and various interests, with a particular focus on games, cross media storytelling, ARGs, social networks and virtual worlds, including my personal interests like climate change awareness, educational issues, digital divide, serious games, popular expression through the media, narrative theory and new media forms.
